Hey parents! Thank you for visiting our Kids Ministry webpage. We believe every parent is called to be the primary disciple makers in your kids’ home! We are here to come alongside you and equip you as you lead your kids. That’s why we have our CFBC kids WITH their parents each week during the worship service. We believe more is “caught” than is taught. Seeing a parent worship, go down to the altar and focus on what God is doing are all teachable moments that you get to have with your children each week. We also have several opportunities for CFBC to invest directly into your kids. Here’s some more information!
Connect Groups
Sundays at 9:15 AM in Room 2250
Each week our children gather together in 2250 for fun, announcements, and a lesson overview for the day. From there our leaders will take the kids to their classrooms for their Connect Groups. Kids will watch a creative video about the day’s lesson and then spend the rest of the time doing activities, hearing Bible stories, playing games, and making crafts. We use the Gospel Project curriculum which walks children through the Bible on a three year rotation.
Engage: Kids
Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in Room 2250
Wednesday nights are hype night in Kids Ministry. With being “stuck” at school all day, our kids are ready to have some fun and get some energy out when they come to Engage: Kids. We have games, worship time, teaching, and an activity/craft. Each month kids will learn about missions and church planting from a different part of the world. Get ready to scream, dance, and have some fun!
Kids Ministry Big Ideas
These Big Ideas are the core competencies that we aim at in Kids Ministry. They drive our programs and what we focus on. Our prayer is that your kids would have a deep understanding of these biblical truths by the time they head to middle school.
