Pastor Search Team Meeting Update
Our Wednesday evening meeting began with a devotional from Matthew 8:5–10, 13, focusing on the account of the centurion and his sick servant. The passage reminds us that the centurion recognized Jesus as the ultimate authority. His confidence was not rooted in the strength of his own faith, but in the faithfulness and authority of Christ.
Following our devotional and prayer time, we reviewed and finalized our Communication Plan. Our goal is to keep the congregation informed throughout the search process while protecting the confidentiality of potential candidates. We are committed to providing regular updates, encouraging church-wide prayer, building confidence in the search process, and helping prevent misinformation or unnecessary speculation.
As we enter the next phase of the pastor search process, we also discussed updates to the Pastor Search Team webpage. The website will be refreshed to reflect our current phase and will continue to serve as a central source of information for the congregation. It will include regular updates, frequently asked questions, prayer emphases, the Pastor Search Team’s letter to the church, candidate referral resources, and other helpful information as the process moves forward.
Our desire is to communicate with transparency whenever appropriate while honoring the integrity of the search process and the individuals whom God may be calling. Thank you for your continued prayers for our team as we seek God’s wisdom, discernment, unity, and above all, a faith that continually recognizes Jesus Christ as the ultimate authority in every decision we make.
