Collierville First Baptist Church is gospel driven.  We will be intentional in sharing Jesus through relationships with our neighbors and the nations.

Local

Collierville First Baptist sends followers of Jesus to 901 residents who need the mercy and love of Jesus in their lives – both spiritually and physically.

We also partner with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) to send relief and plant churches.

How You Can Serve Locally

  • Clothing Ministry

    Through our clothes closet, we strive to help meet the basic needs of our neighbors and look for opportunities to share the gospel.

  • Feed the Homeless

    Our teams minster to our homeless neighbors serving at Memphis Union Mission by sharing meals and the gospel of Jesus.

  • Sports with a Purpose

    Partnering with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, our team mentors and minsters to high school student athletes with the objective of presenting as them fully mature followers of Christ.

  • Counsel Unplanned Pregnant Mothers

    Our teams minster to mothers during an unplanned pregnancy by volunteering at Life Choices.

  • Orphan Care Ministry Team

    We are partnering with the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes to mobilize the church to care for orphans by including them in Christian families and by sacrificial generosity toward the fatherless through teaching, mentoring, resourcing, and serving.

  • International Peoples Team

    Working within the international community in Collierville, our teams seek to help people resettle in America by helping them learn a new culture, and by assisting them as they build a new life here with the hopes of sharing the good news of the gospel!

International

We want to be obedient to the great commission and Acts 1:8, and that means “going” to the nations.  God is working in exciting ways all over the world and CFBC gets to partner in the work in many of those places.  

This could mean orphan work in Guatemala or helping engage an unreached people group in India.  It could also mean contributing to our World Mission Offering to help send others and to support the need of our partners.

Giving

CFBC gives to the mission work in our regular budget and through our annual World Mission Offering collected each spring. The World Mission Offering is distributed among the International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, Send Relief, CFBC Local Missions, CFBC Church Plants, CFBC Unengaged People Group Missions, and TN Baptist Children’s Homes.
