My role at CFBC: Director of Girls’ Ministry
Personal story: I grew up in a loving home where I was blessed to hear the Gospel from a very young age. When I was six years old, God opened my eyes to the fact that I was a sinner separated from Him and that He was the only Savior. I placed my faith in Him and was baptized. As I grew older, a series of hardships drove me to read God’s Word on my own, and I learned that He is the Treasure, worth giving up anything for to know Him more. Since then, I’ve been on a journey to know Him better and love Him with my whole heart, the way He deserves!
Favorite book of the Bible: Psalms
Recent books I’ve enjoyed: "None Like Him" by Jen Wilkin and "I Don’t Wait Anymore" by Grace Thornton
Most fulfilling part of my job: I love seeing “good” girls who grew up in church like me have their eyes opened to God’s goodness. I have truly seen in my life that God “makes known to me the path of life; in [His] presence there is fullness of joy; at [His] right hand are pleasures forevermore.” My favorite thing is when God, in His grace, shows that to these girls! Seeing Him give them a hunger to know Him through His Word and prayer is so exciting!
Places of service available in my ministry: Mentoring and discipling young girls, helping plan and serve at girls events
Spiritual gifts: Service, Exhortation, Mercy
My hobbies: Reading, baking, and going on long walks
I hope heaven includes: Beautiful sunsets and happy clouds!
The smartest thing I’ve ever done: Learned at a young age to value and prioritize time with family.
The best way to pray for me: Please pray that I will love the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that I’ll serve Him wholeheartedly all the days of my life!
