I started working for CFBC: August 24, 2003
My family: My wife, Lisa, and my children, Karah, Dean, Doug and Kaylee
My role at CFBC: Building relationships with each other and with our Savior through:
• personal touches in times of need
• fellowships, trips and other activities
• living out God’s Word and using it in our daily walk with Him
Personal story: Growing up in a loving Christian home I often felt God’s tug on me that I may be in full time ministry one day. I began serving in churches while in college, and then full time in the ministry after a few years of secular work. I am blessed to be a husband, daddy, and minister. Next to my Savior and His salvation my family is the greatest joy of my life!
Favorite book of the Bible: Philippians
Recent books I’ve enjoyed: Pray Like it Matters by Steve Gaines
Most fulfilling part of my job: Seeing someone grow closer to Christ in some way where God used me as His helper to make it so
Places of service available in my ministry: A variety of hands-on and encouragement roles to help older and/or homebound people in our church and community. Also, creative helpers to plan and organize our activities, fellowships and events.
Spiritual gifts: Encouragement and service
My hobbies: Anything with my family: vacations, meals, games, sports. I also love to work on home projects.
I hope heaven includes: All the sweets we can eat!
The smartest thing I’ve ever done: Marrying Lisa!
The best way to pray for me: Pray for purity in deed and thought, creativity in serving our seniors, and unselfishness in ministry to others.
